GREAT LAKES, Ill. (Dec. 12, 2017) – Aviation Structural Mechanic (Equipment) 1st Class Christopher Collins, left, and Damage Controlman 1st Class Jose Mirelessanchez observe recruits during a line-handling evolution at USS Trayer (BST-21). BST-21, or Battle Stations, is the capstone event that recruits must pass prior to graduation, testing their knowledge and skills in basic seamanship, damage control, firefighting, and emergency response procedures.
