U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Carlton Kent, Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps talks with Marines and sailors assigned to U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Europe and U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Africa during a recent visit. This visit marked the final visit to Germany for Kent as an active duty Marine. This summer he hands the Marine Corps most senior enlisted spot to Sgt. Maj. Micheal Barrett and prepares to retire after 34 years of service. Kent made the trip with General James F. Amos, Commandant of the Marine Corps.
