Dirt flies as local, state and North Carolina National Guard leaders make it official at the groundbreaking ceremony for the new NCNG Readiness Center at North Carolina Army National Guard’s 1st-120th Infantry Regiment Headquarters, in Wilmington, North Carolina, Dec. 12, 2017. This marks the beginning of a $16 million construction project on a state of the art facility to replace the aging cold war era armory that was headquarters to more than 200 Soldiers.
