CAMP FOSTER, OKINAWA, Japan – A Foster Girl Scout explains the importance of collecting pajamas during a meeting Dec. 10 at the Community Center aboard Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. The Foster Girl Scout Juniors collected donated pajamas to earn the Bronze Award, the highest award a Junior Girl Scout can earn. The donated pajamas are being sent to Sunrin Orphanage, established in 1952 by the III Marine Expeditionary Force toward the end of the Korean War. With help from other Girl Scout troops and the Marine Officer's Spouses Club Okinawa, the Juniors were able to collect 80 pajamas, one for each child at the orphanage. (U.S Marine photo by Pvt.
