180108-N-DW433-065 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Jan. 8, 2018) - As U.S. 7th Fleet Flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) prepares for undocking, Dry Dock 6 is flooded in order to test the ship for water tight integrity. Blue Ridge is in an extensive maintenance period in order to modernize the ship to continue to serve as a robust communications platform in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
