Soldiers assigned to the 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade engage an enemy alongside their simulated Afghan National Defense Security Forces partner during rotation 18-03 at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, La., Jan. 15, 2017. The JRTC rotation was conducted in order to prepare the newly formed 1st SFAB for an upcoming deployment to Afghanistan in the spring of 2018.
