A plaque dedicated to the memory of Gunnery Sgt. Michael J. Clark, the first explosive ordnance disposal Marine to die in the War on Terror is situated outside the front door of the new EOD building named in honor of Clark at Camp Pendleton, May 26. It has more than ten times the space as the old EOD building and features rooms for each team to perfect their tactics techniques, and procedures used to neutralize any explosive threat.
