On Saturday, January 20, 2018, 253 transformers arrived at the San Juan international airport as part of the Taskforce Power Restoration for delivery to various vendors located across the island as part of the United States Army Corps of Engineers efforts to restore power to the people of Puerto Rico.Due to a shortage of transformers are often the last piece necessary to restore power to local residents.
