Fratton Giuseppe, the Italian Artillery Association of Verona president, addresses attendees of a ceremony commemorating the centenary of Maj. Carlo Ederle’s death, held at Caserma Ederle in Vicenza, Italy, Jan. 26, 2018. Participants and guests included Andrea Ederle, Major Ederle’s nephew and the president of the Maj. Carlo Ederle Foundation; Federico Formisano, the Vicenza City Council president; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8862 members; Italian artillery associations of Padova, Vicenza and Verona members; and other guests of U.S. and Italian armies.
