An original, refurbished Red Cross uniform and motorcycle from WWI was on display during a memorial ceremony, Jan. 26th, 2018, in Mestre, Italy. The display was part of a ceremony honoring Richard Fairfield and William Platt, both Red Cross members and the first two Americans killed on the front lines in Italy during the war.
