South Dakota Department of Correction inmates help the flood relief efforts at Gateway facility, June 3, in North Sioux City, S.D. Inmates, National Guard members, and volunteers are producing up to 150,000 sandbags per day at the site. Officials estimate that the sandbagging operations in the area are producing nearly 500,000 sandbags a day as the Missouri River continues to rise.
