Damage control fireman Nicholas Schwertfager and aviation maintenance administration worker 2nd Class Joyce Pickens, both assigned to the Navy Provisional Detainee Battalion, screens and collects a visitor's personal property. The Bucca Visitor Center stores each visitor's personal property while they conduct their visit with a detainee held at the Theater Internment Facility. In addition to guaranteed due process reviews, access to 24 hour medical care and culturally appropriate meals, detainees are authorized to receive family visits. Schwertfager and Pickens are both Navy individual augmentees. Schwertfager is from USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) and Pickens is from Naval Air Facility Washington.
