U.S. Marines with Alpha Company, 3rd Assault Amphibious Battalion board their amphibious assault vehicles into the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD-6) near White Beach, Okinawa Japan, Feb. 3, 2018. The California-based battalion embarked to participate in Exercise Cobra Gold 18, an exercise designed to enhance partner capacity in planning and executing complex and realistic multinational force and combined task force operations.
