The U.S. Army 404th Civil Affairs Battalion, commanded by U.S. Army Lt. Col. Stefan Adamcik assumed authority from the 443rd Civil Affairs Battalion, at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Feb. 3, 2018. The 404th will conduct military-to-military engagements to strengthen partner nation capacity and relationships with local military forces, civilian populations and civilian authorities.
