USS RUSHMORE, Pacific Ocean – Marines with 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 1st Marine Division, and Japanese Soldiers with the Western Army Infantry Regiment, Japan Ground Self Defense Force, prepare to drive their Amphibious Assault Vehicle into the welldeck of the USS Rushmore (LSD-47) during exercise Iron Fist 2018, Jan. 31.
