MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – A Japanese Soldier, with the Western Army Infantry Regiment, Japan Ground Self Defense Force, provides rear security for his squad during amphibious assault training during Exercise Iron Fist 2018, Feb. 5. Iron Fist is an annual, bilateral amphibious training exercise held in Southern California between the U.S. Marine Corps and the JGSDF.
