(February 7, 2018) Naval Air Station (NAS) Whidbey Island's Federal Fire and Emergency Services Department extinguishes residual flame inside a helicopter trainer following a simulated terrorist attack scenario during the annual anti-terrorism exercise Solid Curtain-Citadel Shield (SC-CS) on the airstrip at NASWI. SC-CS Solid Curtain/Citadel Shield is an anti-terrorism and force protection exercise conducted by Navy installations within the continental United States to ensure that the Navy is ready to respond to changing and dynamic threats at all times.
