    II Marine Expeditionary Force   

    Cpl. Brandon D. Shaw and Sgt. Matthew J. Forgetta, both aviation ordnance technicians with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 269, run around an AH-1W Cobra while the ordnance is inspected on the bird by Lance Cpl. James M. Stokes, an aviation ordnance prior to flight on Camp Dwyer, Afghanistan, June 6. Almost 100 Marines and sailors with HLMA-269 deployed out of Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C. The squadron will provide close air support to Marines and their coalition partners on the ground in the Regional Command Southwest area of operations in southwestern Afghanistan.
