    II Marine Expeditionary Force   

    Capt. Randall C. White, a AH-1W Cobra pilot with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 269, and a native of Portsmouth, R.I., exits a Cobra on Camp Dwyer, Afghanistan, after a flight June 6. Almost 100 Marines and sailors with HLMA-269 deployed out of Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C. The squadron will provide close air support to Marines and their coalition partners on the ground in the Regional Command Southwest area of operations in southwestern Afghanistan.
