Marines from all seven fully participating nations in Exercise Cobra Gold 2018 work in the Combined Marine Corps Force Operation Center Feb. 17, 2018, at U-Tapao International Airport, Ban Chang district, Rayong province, Thailand. Marines in the Combined Marine Forces Operation Center gain experience with participating nations by working together through mission planning for scenarios and managing current operations. Exercise Cobra Gold is one of the largest exercises in the Indo-Pacific region and improves the capabilities of participating nations in the event of a regional contingency or natural disaster.
