Forces from all seven fully participating nations in Exercise Cobra Gold 2018 work in the Combined Air Force Operation Center Feb. 17, 2018, at U-Tapao International Airport, Ban Chang district, Rayong province, Thailand. Forces in the Combined Air Force Operation Center gain experience with participating nations by working together through mission planning in a scenario and managing current operations. Exercise Cobra Gold is one of the largest exercises in the Indo-Pacific region and improves the capabilities of participating nations in the event of a regional contingency or natural disaster.
