Colten Voss, automatic rifleman, from Arlington, Texas, with the 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion (1st LAR), Combat Assault Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, covers his teammates while practicing jungle maneuvers on Feb. 18, 2018 at Phu Lamyai, Kingdom of Thailand. Learning jungle maneuvers adds to the skillsets of the Marines of the 1st LAR during exercise Cobra Gold 18. The unit is forward-deployed to Okinawa, Japan as part of the unit deployment program.
