Marines from the 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, Combat Assault Battalion, 3rd Marine Division out of Twentynine Palms, Calif., maneuver across a route during a dry run for a live fire training exercise in a light armored vehicle (LAV), Feb. 18, 2018 at Phu Lamyai, Kingdom of Thailand. The LAV is an amphibious vehicle being tested on its ability to function under combat conditions. The unit is forward-deployed to Okinawa, Japan as part of the unit deployment program.
