Although not part of this upgrade, the Watervliet Arsenal manufactures the howitzer barrels for every Paladin howitzer. Here, a 155mm Paladin barrel is being removed from the furnace where it was heated to nearly 2,000 degrees and will be en route to the rotary forge.
