A U.S. Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 81 launches from the flight deck aboard the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) Feb. 25, 2018, in the Atlantic Ocean. The Truman is underway for composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX), which evaluates the strike group's ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea - ultimately certifying the Harry S.
