ATLANTIC OCEAN (Feb. 24, 2018) Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Dylan Mckinney, left, requests permission from the officer of the deck, Lt. j.g. Frank McMillan, to be relieved from his watch in the pilothouse of the guided-missile destroyer USS Bukeley (DDg 84). Bulkeley is underway as part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group (HSTCSG) composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX), which evaluates the strike group's ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea - ultimately certifying the HSTCSG for deployment.
