A United States special operations soldier engages targets with his handgun while competing in the night assault shooting event at this year’s Fuerzasn Comando competition. At this event, competitors used their handgun and a handheld flashlight as they tried to shoot two rounds of ammunition into seven targets at varying distances of five, seven and 15 meters within a 25-second interval. Fuerzas Comando, established in 2004, is a U.S. Southern Command-sponsored special operations skills competition and senior leader seminar which is conducted annually in Central and South America and the Caribbean.
