A flag detail from the 40th Brigade Engineer Battalion lowers an aging Kuwaiti Flag on Camp Patriot, Kuwait, during a ceremony Feb. 22, 2018, in advance of National Day and Liberation Day, Kuwaiti holidays celebrating the country’s independence from Britain in 1961 and the expulsion of Iraqi forces in 1991, respectively.
