At the conclusion of the Army’s birthday run, held June 14, 2011, the U.S. Army Engineer School passed the guidon to the 1st Engineer Brigade to complete a total combined run of 236 miles—one mile for each year of the Army Engineer Regiment’s birthday. The engineer’s birthday run was completed in two-person teams by supporting units, and concluded with a 3.1-mile regimental run, June 16. (Army photo/Michael Curtis)
