Rear Adm. Gayle D. Shaffer, Director, Health Services, Headquarters, U.S.
Marine Corps/Medical Officer of the Marine Corps/Chief, Navy Dental Corps,
(center) along with dental corps chiefs and officers from the U.S. Army and
U.S. Air Force toured various sites in the Pacific Northwest including Naval
Hospital Bremerton (NHB) on Feb. 27, 2018. Capt. Jeffrey Bitterman, NHB
commanding officer, hosted the visitors by showcasing Branch Health Clinic
Bangor dental staff and clinic, along with NHB's Main Pharmacy, Family
Medicine and Oral Surgery departments. Joining Rear Adm. Shaffer were (Left
to right), Cmdr. Toni Bowden, Capt. Adam Bennett, Lt. Col. Constance Sedon,
Col. Ender Ozgul, Capt. Bitterman, Col. William Baez, Rear Adm. Shaffer,
Capt. Jeanette Gorthy, Col. Shan Bagby, Lt. Col. Tansel Acar, Lt. Col.
Amanda Nelson, Capt. Stephanie Couperus, and Cmdr. Molly Jenkins (Official
