Blowing snow creates whiteout conditions as Soldiers from Battery B, 2nd Battalion, 8th Field Artillery Regiment prepare to hook up their 155mm howitzer to a CH-47 Chinook helicopter for the return flight to Fort Wainwright, Alaska, March 7, 2018. The exercise, Automatic Big Rig, was part of the first gun raid in three years for the 2nd Battalion, 8th Field Artillery Regiment, and was carried out in conjunction with helicopter support from the 1st Battalion, 52nd Aviation Regiment.
