Guardian Angels of the 212th Rescue Squadron set up a cooking stove March 5, 2018, while in support of Ice Exercise 2018 somewhere over the Arctic Ocean. The rescue personnel validated equipment and training in the harsh Arctic conditons. ICEX 2018 is a five-week exercise that allows the Navy to assess its operational readiness in the Arctic, increase experience in the region, advance understanding of the Arctic environment, and continue to develop relationships with other services, allies and partner organizations.
