An Alaska Air National Guard HC-130J Combat King II from the 211th Rescue Squadron is ready to refuel an HH-60G Pave Hawk from the 210th Rescue Squadron March 7, 2018, in support of Ice Exercise 2018 somewhere over the Arctic Ocean. ICEX 2018 is a five-week exercise that allows the Navy to assess its operational readiness in the Arctic, increase experience in the region, advance understanding of the Arctic environment, and continue to develop relationships with other services, allies and partner organizations.
