CAMP ARIFJAN, Kuwait – Maj. Gen. Andrew Schafer, 28th Infantry Division commanding general, explains the division’s role in Task Force Spartan during a transfer of authority ceremony March 8, 2018. The Pennsylvania Army National Guard unit’s headquarters and headquarters battalion assumed responsibility from its counterpart, the 35th Infantry Division which is comprised of soldiers from the Missouri and Kansas National Guard.
