U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. David W. Maxwell, 2nd Marine Logistics Group Commanding General, is briefed on the Marine Corps new Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) on Camp Lejeune N.C., Mar 7, 2018. Replacing the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), the JLTV has an increased payload, protection and performance over its predecessor; they are expected to begin fielding units 2019.
