U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. David W. Maxwell, 2nd Marine Logistics Group Commanding General, is given a tour of the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) on Camp Lejeune N.C., Mar 7, 2018. The JLTV will be replacing the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV). Replacing the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), the JLTV has an increased payload, protection and performance over its predecessor; they are expected to begin fielding units 2019.
