Class 11-01, a group of soldiers from the Suriname army graduating from security forces training, display their graduation certificates, June 29. Class 11-01 was trained by the South Dakota Army National Guard’s 235th Military Police Company, from Rapid City, S.D., on an array of security force techniques, tactics, and procedures during the New Horizons 2011 training exercise. New Horizons is a cooperative humanitarian mission between the Suriname government and the United States Southern Command with the goal of helping to improve the quality of life for the people of Suriname.
