Advanced individual training (AIT) Soldiers erect wall braces for the processing area of a Mobile Integrated Remains Collection System (MIRCS) Mar. 23 at Joint Mortuary Affairs Center, The Quartermaster School, Fort Lee, Va. When needed, MIRCS can be assembled in the field and become operational in approximately 30 minutes. Upon graduation from the seven-week course, the students will become either Army mortuary affairs specialists or Marine Corps personnel retrieval and processing specialists.
