180403-N-AZ808-1197 SINGAPORE (April 3, 2018) Culinary Specialist 2nd Class Fernandez Boose, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97), passes a basketball to a Singapore local following a community relations project at Willing Hearts Soup Kitchen. Halsey is currently underway with the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group on a regularly scheduled deployment to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
