CAMP BUEHRING, Kuwait — U.S Army 1st Battalion, 244th Aviation Regiment (Assault) Standardization Pilot Chief Warrant Officer 4 James Maner (middle), briefs Soldiers assigned to the 1-244th Assault Helicopter Battalion (AHB) and 1st Battalion, 126th Aviation Regiment (GSAB), 449th Combat Aviation Brigade, Task Force Spartan on proper operations and expectations for Deck Landing Qualifications prior to landing on the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Higgins (DDG 76) in the North Arabian Gulf, March 26, 2018. DLQ training familiarizes Soldiers and Sailors with proper operations that can be used to transport cargo to remote locations over water.
