AQABA, Jordan (April 16, 2018) Gas Turbine Systems Technician (Mechanical) 3rd Class Corey Fisher secures a landing craft, air cushion, assigned to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 4, in the well deck of the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) following a vehicle offload in support of the bilateral military exercise Eager Lion April 16, 2018. Iwo Jima is in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations participating in Eager Lion, a capstone training engagement that provides U.S. forces and the Jordan Armed Forces an opportunity to rehearse operating in a coalition environment and to pursue new ways to collectively address threats to regional security and improve overall maritime security.
