Soldiers, from 11th Transportation Battalion, 7th Transportation Brigade, use shipboard cranes to lower a U.S. Army conex box from USNS Brittin (T-ARK 305) to an awaiting Improved Navy Lighterage System Causeway Ferry, operated by Sailors from Amphibious Construction Battalion 2, during Joint Logistics Over the Shore (JLOTS) 18. JLOTS 18 is a part of U.S. Southern Command’s exercise Beyond the Horizon, led by U.S. Army South, that helps to bolster regional and partner relations through humanitarian and civic assistance projects, medical readiness exercises, and exercise related construction projects taking place in El Salvador.
