Improved Navy Lighterage Causeway Ferry 07, operated by Sailors from Amphibious Construction Battalion 2, pulls along the port side of USNS Brittin (T-ARK 305) in order to be fueled during Joint Logistics Over the Shore (JLOTS) 18. JLOTS 18 is a part of U.S. Southern Command’s exercise Beyond the Horizon, led by U.S. Army South, that helps to bolster regional and partner relations through humanitarian and civic assistance projects, medical readiness exercises, and exercise related construction projects taking place in El Salvador.
