Pacific Ocean (April 21, 20180 An MH-60R helicopter of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 71 takes off from the flight deck of USS Stockdale (DDG106) during an underway Cruiser-Destroyer (CRUDES) Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT) exercise. Stockdale is one of three CRUDES warships from USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) Carrier Strike Group (CSG) completing a CRUDES SWATT exercise. The other ships participating in the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) led exercise are USS Mobile Bay (CG 53) and USS Spruance (DDG 111).
