180424-N-WF272-069 PACIFIC OCEAN (April 24, 2018) Aviation Ordnanceman 1st Class Bernard Donlon, from Shalimar, Fla., assigned to the “Sea Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC 22), completes final checks on an LAU-61 rocket launcher attached to an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) prior to a live-fire exercise. Bonhomme Richard, which had been forward-deployed since 2012 as the Amphibious Force 7th Fleet flagship, is transiting to San Diego as part of a homeport change and where it is scheduled to undergo upgrades to operate the F-35B Lightning II.
