Councillor Yamada Hiroshi, Japan Diet Upper House Member, greets U.S. Marines with Combat Assault Company, 3rd Marine Regiment on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, April 30, 2018. Yamada visited Hawaii to learn more about Marine Corps’ amphibious capabilities, the MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft, the AAV-P7/A1 assault amphibious vehicle, and the logistics cooperation between the two nations.
