Ollie during a change of command ceremony on Thursday, May 3 onboard the Los Angeles-class, nuclear-powered, fast-attack submarine USS San Juan (SSN-751) at Naval Submarine Base, New London in Groton, Conn. The mission of COMSUBRON 12 is to provide attack submarines that are ready, willing, and able to meet the unique challenges of undersea combat and deployed operations in the unforgiving environments across the globe.
