Maj. Gen. Francis Beaudette, commander of the 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne), presents the Silver Star to a Green Beret assigned to 2nd Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) during a ceremony at Fort Carson, Colorado, May 2nd, 2018. The Green Beret earned the award for valorous actions against an armed enemy while deployed to Afghanistan in support of the Resolute Support Mission.
