Sgt. Alawa Kpamborga, a combat engineer assigned to Task Force 1st Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division fires an M240B general-purpose machine gun during a qualification event for the 3rd ID’s Best Warrior Competition, May 3, 2018, at Fort Stewart, Ga. The three-day competition consisted of events that measured each competitor’s physical and mental toughness, as well as their technical and tactical proficiency.
