NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (May 7, 2018) Sailors aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71) heave mooring line as the ship arrives at Naval Station Rota, Spain, following a four-month patrol in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations May 7, 2018. The patrol was the sixth for Ross, which is forward-deployed to Rota, in support of U.S. 6th Fleet as well as regional allies and partners and U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
